People are aware that coming in contact with a person or animal who has an infection is an easy way to catch most infectious diseases. What most people forget is that you do not necessarily need to come in direct contact with the person who has an infection to be infected with the disease.


Visiting a dental clinic that does not practice proper hygiene and infection control procedures is one of the easiest way to catch a disease, from a minor illness like colds and flu to more serious diseases like HIV, hepatitis or tuberculosis.
